Polystyrene / Rexolite®
This low-cost plastic brings excellent electrical properties to a range of applications
Lighter than acrylic, with virtually the same optical properties, polystyrene/Rexolite offers designers a low-cost, easily machined material for a wide variety of electrical and other applications. The material can be fiber-glass reinforced to increase its already high resistance to impact. Polystyrene/Rexolite is also a cost-effective choice for parts used in harsh environments involving exposure to chemicals, radiation and moisture.
